The Baptismal Pool-2009
There were so many blessings that came to us in 2009 since we started 4:30 a.m. prayer. We got the little drum set; was able to fix up the place; and our favorite was the baptismal pool project.
The contributions that came in to support the project was fabulous. Thank you everyone.
The tub that we purchased originally was a 6 foot tub. The cost was about $120.00. Pastor King ordered the tub and waited for a call that never came, so he called them. Long story cut short. The communication between Pastor King and the person that placed the order was not clear.
The tub Pastor King needed had to be specially order, but the sales lady didn’t know and gave him a delivery date of 3 days. Special ordeing means a delay, the tub would arrive in one month, maybe. Souls needed to be baptized so we couldn’t wait. So Pastor King told the salesman what it was for. He said, WOW! Baptism. Hold on let me talk to my boss. They gave Pastor King the 8 foot tub for $140.00 dollars, regular price is about $200.00.
In these photos Pastor King is seen making room to bring the tub in. ” I had to rearrange everything, move my camera equipment, my tables and chairs, etc. Move everything around. “ Later more donations came in, which allowed us to make the pool into a beautiful piece of art.
