Perception & The Believers Thoughts Part 1

To be inspired by the Holy Ghost to write, pray, fast, shout & rejoice, praise God until I lose myself and to say simply shout out loud “thank you Lord” when he gives me a quick glimpse of revelation,  is a joy to me.  I thank and praise God for the spirit of His Son abiding in me and bringing with Him vision.  I am so grateful and satisfied in Him and look forward to opportunities when God shares more of Himself with me and continues to show me the dept of His word.

I look back over my life and think things over (sound like a song I know) and I realize that what’s happening to me now and how God is sharing these deep things in His Word didn’t happen for me as a young man in the ministry or at least I didn’t notice.  My change came when the Lord healed me of Hyper-Thyroid disease.  I was sick for over seven years with no medical treatment waiting for my change to come.  I wanted something from the Lord.  I didn’t know what He would give me, but I knew it would change everything about me.  I didn’t realize at the time that he was forming His righteousness in me, that he was giving me His perspectives, that he was giving me something that He will not shared with everyone.

Through that sickness I’ve learned many things about my flesh and it’s weaknesses and about my thoughts, and how frail and weak we are.  That what we believe about ourselves is nothing, meaningless to everyone and everything else, but ourselves.  That without HIM WE CAN DO NOTHING.  We can believe in our thoughts that we are strong and we can say with our mouth that we can make it.  But if He doesn’t grant us the power or strength, then our words and thoughts are simply our own and nothing more and that when we are gone from this world, our thoughts, ideas, concepts, purposes and everything that we thought of ourselves fades with us and that the only thing that is real, is HIM.

I’ve learned that visions from God are but for a season and a time; and that with the vision God gives strength for THAT VISION and that we must run while the vision is with us, because it will be gone and the strength with it.  That may of God’s people like myself receive these visions from the Lord, mostly in the midnight hours or the times when everything is quiet.  You know, the times when you are sleeping good and all of the sudden you can’t sleep or God gives you something and you didn’t record it.  The next morning you cannot remember what He told you.  I’ve learned that if you listen and move on the vision, He will use you to share His Passion to put LIFE IN PEOPLE.

Anyway, lets talk about our bible class on Sunday, January 24, 2010.  We continued our series on Perception and the believer.  The Holy Spirit blessed us in this service.  I’ve created a short 10 minute video of the class; Listen below.
