The flesh cannot inherit the promises of God. If we approach the word of God in the flesh we will reap the rewards of iniquity, but if we through the spirit mortify the deeds of the body we shall live. God made promises to those who partake of the Spirit of His Son. Those promises are to you even if you stumble at the promise. The promise was made with only one requirement; to believe on He whom God has sent.
